New firmware to prepare Surface Pro 3 for Windows 10
Mirosoft recently released new firmware for its two latest tablets, Surface and Surface Pro 3. For the second in particular, an update aims to prepare the ground for Windows 10, but it is unknown exactly how.
The new firmware is available recently and this is the area 3 that receives the greatest number of changes, a difference probably due to his young age. Several important drivers are integrated, including those for the integrated Intel graphics, for her, for the stylus Pen area for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and for the webcam. It is in each case better question of performance enhancements or greater accuracy.
Note also an update for the Surface Aggregator System which allows better experience with Cover Surface, although Microsoft does not say how.
For Surface Pro 3 , an update prepares the tablet to the arrival of Windows 10, scheduled for July 29 . We do not know how or why, but Microsoft clearly suggests that the new firmware is required for UEFI support some features of the new system, possibly related to security. Note also that the drivers for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are again updated and the reliability and performance are advertised as best.
