Windows 10 Mobile 10536 Build the repairs which no longer working
Microsoft offers the Windows since yesterday evening Build 10536 10 Mobile for testers. This is a slightly revised version to get rid of a problem on the updates. The new focus on improved responsiveness corrections, some user requests were heard.
Yesterday, we reported that a build 10536 had been sent by mistake to 200 devices when a problem was found, initially preventing its distribution. The concern was the updates, the build up will then progress to later. A new build 10536 is proposed, however, since last night, the complementary version number from 1003-1004.
This time, the problem is solved and registered testers Windows Insider program can install it without fear of being blocked in the future. The changes largely focus on concerns corrections previously encountered, including connection sharing feature that was not working, preventing some of testers to get started. Moreover, those currently in Windows Phone 8.1 and waiting to testWindows 10 can upgrade directly to the latest build.
Many corrections, tethering finally works
Other corrections, it will mark the return of pinch zoom in cards, two-factor authentication to function again, Do Not Disturb mode repaired as well as some improvements throughout the system. The Home screen also displays the information more quickly, even if the result is not yet ideal. Furthermore, the Photos application is enhanced significantly with several requests made by users. Thus, a folder view appears, to quickly separate the onedrive content, and local SD card. Performance has also been improved, especially on the display and zoom pictures. This version of the application (15.9) will be deployed on Windows 10 computers in the coming days.
Performance that would still see increase
Gradually, the system is improving, but we would still see performance optimizations. Windows Phone, we appreciate its interface or not, is clearly distinguished from the competition by a high reactivity, even on less powerful devices. It would be a shame Windows Mobile 10 is slower, especially as its PC equivalent to paying the luxury of being more responsive than previous versions. There also remains plenty of time before sending a finalized version to builders because the updates are supposed to arrive between October and November.
Remember, those who already have a prerelease Windows Mobile 10 can go get the news in the integrated update tool. Others can recover the dedicated application for Windows Phone 8.1 and make the attempt. Beware though, because even if the system has stabilized significantly, it is still a "beta", and should be avoided, for example, install it on too much phone everyday.
