Solution Update to Windows 10 Fail
It is now possible to update its operating system to Windows 10. Everything happens from Windows Update.
Here some solution to fix the probleme if Update to Windows 10 Fail :
If your download did not start and if you do not have the $Windows.~BT folder on your drive (make sure you display files / folders hidden to view it) you can force that.:
- Start a command prompt in administrator mode
- Type the command: wuauclt.exe / UpdateNow
In some cases, the update may fail you can check the Windows Update, will show that the failure of the update to Windows 10. To fixe this problem we recommend these steps:
- Start a command prompt (CMD) in administrator mode,
- Execute this : net stop WuAuServ
- A message indicates that the windows update service was stopped,
- Open My Computer and navigate to the Windows folder: right click on the "SoftwareDistribution" folder to rename it "SoftwareDistribution.old"
- On the CMD opened on the first step execute : net start WuAuServ
- Windows Update will put a while to rebuild its cache and restart the full download of Windows 10 to install it.
