SCCM 1511 how to switch between the old and new version of the software center
One of the biggest revolutions on SCCM 1511 is the revamped Software Center.
In fact, Silverlight is no longer required, and Application Catalog (user-available apps) now appears in Software Center under the Applications tab.
Unfortunately, when you migrate from SCCM 2012 to SCCM 1511 you will get the old version of software center
Don’t panic there is no issue, your migration is ok, lets guide you to get the new software center!
1- Open SCCM console and go to AdministrationOverviewClient Settings.
2- Open “Default Client Settings ”
3- Go to “Computer Agent” tabe
4- Switch “Use New Software Center” to Yes
To be safer, don’t touch the Default Client Settings. Per group of (User/Device) Settings, create a new entity and deploy it as required
