When you try to install .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows Server 2012 you got the followings

Error: 0x800f081f

The source files could not be found.
Use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that are required t

The DISM log file can be found at C:WindowsLogsDISMdism.log

There tow method to insall dontNet 3.5 on Windows server 2012

Method 1 :

command line to install  dontNet 3.5 on Windows server 2012

DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:sourcessxs

Be ware !! dont forgot the "" charectere at the end of folder

Method 2 :

 install  dontNet 3.5 on Windows server 2012 using wizard



click on "Specify an alternate source..."



navigate to SXS folder of you windows 2012 r2 DVD install
