Windows 10 with a PIN session
As with Windows 8.1, you have the option to connect to your Windows 10 with a PIN session. To do so, the handling is very simple. Go to Settings Accounts Sign-in options. Then add your PIN.
However, you may experience problems whose symptoms are:
- Inability to select the login via PIN boot screen
- Inability to change your PIN (you get the message "something went wrong please try again later")
Here is the solution to fix this problem and take advantage of this nice feature (including Tablet):
Launch your browser, and navigate to C: Windows ServiceProfiles LocalService AppData Local Microsoft NGC:
Then delete anything that is in this directory.
Then go back to Settings Accounts Sign-in options and re create your PIN.
There you go !! Again, you can connect via the PIN.
